Hawkes Bay Marathon - Sileni Estate Winery, 2016 Maraekakaho Rd - 12 May 2018

Run away to Hawkes Bay for one of New Zealand's biggest running festivals incorporating 42 km, 21 km, 10 km and 3 km kids run options. The event courses are flat, easy running. They each offer a unique mix of running terrain, with a combination of running on-road, bike trails and through vineyards. The courses take in the highlights of the Hawkes Bay region which overall include running along the waterfront in Napier, Hawkes Bay cycle trails and quiet country roads, with the last 10 km of the courses running through private vineyards. The finish line for all events is set in the gorgeous surroundings of Sileni Estates Winery.

Targa Rally (Hawkes Bay 2018) - Havelock North Village - 18-20 May 2018

This year sees a slight change of format with a move to a three day event starting in Taupo on Thursday the 17th May for documentation, scrutineering and Drivers briefing, followed by a Ceremonial Start and Parade around town.

Friday morning departure heads south towards Waiouru for the morning stages with a lunch stop in Taihape before heading over the Gentle Annies to finished in Havelock North for the first of two nights.

Saturday is a similar route to last years event with lunch and end of day in Havelock North. The local car club will also be joining us for the day in another standalone event.

Sunday sees us travel south into the Central Hawkes Bay and Tararua Districits before returning to finish the event back in Havelock North.

With a total of 480 km of closed road stages and just over 600 km of touring, this compact event has it all. With fabulous roads and amazing scenery supported by a local community that has so much to offer beyond the Motorsport activities, you will not want to miss it.

Hawkes Bay Arts Festival - 15-28 October 2018

The Harcourt's Hawkes Bay Arts Festival celebrates its fourth birthday this year with what is anticipated to be a spectacular line up of more than 70 events in venues throughout the region. There will be a diverse line up of performances including theatre, dance, music, cabaret, comedy, children’s shows, a readers and writers festival and much, much more. More details will be provided as they become available.

Hawkes A & P Show - 18-19 October 2018

In 2018 the Hawkes Bay A&P Society will host the New Zealand Royal A&P Show at Hawkes Bay on Show, the fourth Royal Show of its tenure. The Premier Agricultural Show in New Zealand will bring competitors from all over New Zealand to compete for the coveted tri-colour ribbon.

2018 Hospice Holly Trail - Havelock North - 10-12 November 2018

The Hospice Holly Trail was established in 2000 by a group of philanthropic women in order to raise funds for Cranford Hospice, Hawkes Bay. The Hospice Holly Trail is held biennially and the 10th Trail will be held in November 2018.


Horse of the Year - Hawkes Bay A & P Showgrounds - 13-17 March 2019

The Annual Horse of The Year Show is New Zealand’s Premier Equestrian Competition, featuring a range of horse and rider combinations from multiple disciplines. With over 1800 riders and 2500 horses competing for lucrative titles and prize money the show is a feature on most equestrian calendars.
